Aminu Aliyu

Aminu Aliyu is a development strategist and program coordinator advancing climate justice, disaster risk reduction, and inclusive resilience for marginalized groups and persons with disabilities. He designs and implements community-driven programs that integrate equity into climate action, supporting Nigeria’s NDC goals on adaptation and resilience. Passionate about disability inclusion, youth empowerment, and gender equity, Aminu works at the intersection of public health, climate action, and social justice to ensure no one is left behind in the fight against climate change.
I would rate my overall experience as a mentor in this cohort as excellent. The program created a meaningful platform for knowledge exchange, mutual learning, and intergenerational collaboration. Guiding mentees and seeing their growth was both inspiring and rewarding, and I also gained fresh perspectives from their energy and innovation.
