CAPESTONE PROJECT
As part of my Green Mentorship Cohort capstone project, I implemented World Cleanup Day 2025 in collaboration with Sustainable People (SP) and other partners. This global annual event, held every September 20th, mobilizes millions of volunteers worldwide to tackle solid waste challenges. For the 2025 edition, ESAC (Eco-System Advocacy and Conservation) hosted the Lagos cleanup at Ketu Motor Park, with the theme: “Tackling Textile and Fabric Waste.” The project went beyond cleaning the park. It contributed to the broader global vision of mobilizing 5% of humanity for a cleaner, healthier planet.

FUTURE GOALS
After the mentorship program, I intend to hold firmly to the lessons and guidance I received from my mentor and consciously apply them in both my personal and professional journey. I will continue to refer to the materials, tools, and resources shared during the program as a foundation for continuous growth. My focus is to keep learning and advancing in environmental conservation and sustainability, while also strengthening my path in research and innovation to contribute solutions that address pressing environmental challenges.
