Project/Capstone: One Comrade, One Tree. “Your Degree Opens Doors. Your Tree Opens Forests!”
It is a campus-based climate action initiative that mobilizes students to plant and adopt trees as part of a personal and collective commitment to environmental sustainability.
Each comrade plants at least one tree, tags it with their name and student ID and commits to nurture and grow the tree for the time he or she will be on campus. At the end of the course, the student will capture himself while wearing a gown during graduation to commemorate the journey
The initiative hopes to foster environmental ownership among comrades which will eventually support Kenya's 15 Billion trees planting target and NDC targets as well. The initiative will promote climate literacy and climate action at the grassroots and therefore building a culture of youth-led eco- leadership.

I will scale up the project to other institutions, primary schools, secondary schools, and colleges. I will open a centre for innovation to tap on comrades' innovative power.
